2026 QPFC MiniRoos Football
QPFC MiniRoos is a modified version of football that provides boys & girls, ages 8-12, with a fun introduction to competitive team games. Games are played in the following formats:
Ages 8-9 years: 7v7 format on a modified ¼ pitch
Ages 10-12 years: 9v9 format on a modified ½ pitch
Competitions
QPFC competes in the Eastern Suburbs Football Association (ESFA) Winter competition which is played over 16 Rounds against other local clubs on a “Home & Away” basis. Competitions will commence on 28/29 March 2026 and finish in late August. A detailed calendar will be available in early 2026.

Training
Weekly coaching is provided by QPFC qualified staff coaches implementing Football Australia Curriculum guidelines of core skills development - running with the ball, first touch, shooting/passing technique and game understanding.
Pre-season training is held on weekends In February and March at Queens Park.
In season coaching is held on Wednesdays at Moore Park Synthetic from April through to August.
Ages 8 - 9 years: 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Ages 10 - 12years: 6:00 - 7:00 pm
As a community club, QPFC counts on parent volunteers to manage teams for weekend games - please offer your support.
Playing kit
Players wear the QPFC branded playing kit (shirt, shorts, socks, track jacket) which is purchased online from the Club Shop www.qpfc.com.au Notifications will be sent when orders are ready for collection from the Amenities Shed at Baronga Avenue, Queens Park from February onwards.
Registration
The QPFC MiniRoos package, which includes 16 rounds of competitive games and 18 weeks of coaching by QPFC qualified coaches, costs $510. Families may be eligible for a NSW Government $50 Active Kids Rebate (AKR). Obtain your voucher before registration.
Registrations open 2 January 2026. Players register individually on the PlayFootball platform and allocated to teams by QPFC.
